Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead crew performing maintenance of commercial and residential properties
  • Pruning, cultivating, weeding, mowing, trimming using a vast array of machinery
  • Utilize electrically powered maintenance equipment
  • Participate in data tracking pertaining to organic waste recycling, emissions use and other environmental measures.
  • Responsible for training crew members, participating in health and safety meetings and ensuring the professionalism of all crew members.
  • Create a positive work environment for colleagues.

Qualifications

  • G driver’s license
  • Tree/Plant ID and native planting knowledge
  • Knowledge on sustainable horticultural alternatives
  • Insect, disease and weed identification and resolution

In addition to the above, you must have demonstrated supervisory and communication skills, the ability to physically participate in day-to-day planting/maintenance and a positive, friendly manner to ensure excellence in customer service and employee morale.
