Space with a view
To make the most of this residence’s commanding views of Toronto’s iconic skyline and Lake Ontario’s shores, ILI’s Landscape Development Team set to work constructing a contemporary patio space.
Space for entertaining
A raised wooden deck was built as an entertainment area above new, locally sourced limestone paving. This deck provides an elevated view of the lake, while vibrant, custom cantilevered umbrellas provide protection from both the sun and chilly breezes. LED strip lighting was used to highlight the new steps and privacy screen and add a gentle glow.
Space for plants
Ornamental grasses planted in wood-clad stainless steel planters complement the new deck and soften the tone of the space. They also provide visual interest throughout all seasons.
