At this Muskoka retreat, the client tasked ILI’s Landscape Development Team with the installation of a large asphalt penetration sport court and adjoining trail systems.

Sustainability
Large granite slabs and repurposed blast rock from the excavation phase were used for the walkways.
Level Playing Field
After salvaging existing granite outcroppings to create a level playing area, the multipurpose court was installed. A random cut natural stone patio was created to serve as a viewing area. Also, custom storage and change rooms were constructed adjacent to the court.
Beautiful pathways
Taking care to minimize the impact on the surrounding forest environment, several pathways were created.
A seamless escape
Large granite slabs and repurposed blast rock from the excavation phase were used for the walkways. Planting areas were also created, using native species of plants. Between the use of natural rocks and indigenous plants, the pathways were blended seamlessly into the forest landscape.
